Drake is fairly generous when it comes to cosigns. The result of the Drizzy stamp of approval can be an OVO record deal, a remix, or, in the case of the Sauce Twinz, absolutely nothing. The latest young artist Drake has been bumping is 18-year-old Kodak Black from Pompano Beach, Florida. And for good reason -- the kid's got insane talent. The 6 God just posted a video of himself jamming out to Kodak's "SKRT" on his private plane.
The new Instagram clip isn't the first time Drake has shown love to young Kodak. He played "SKRT" during episode 6 of OVO Sound Radio, before premiering his joint album with Future, What a Time to Be Alive. Oliver El-Khatib also played two Kodak Black songs on episode 2, when Drake dropped "Charged Up" and "Hotline Bling."
In less favorable news, Black was recently arrested for assault, kidnapping, and robbery. He's free for now but further legal proceedings await.
Y'all think Drake is just showing love or is he trying to fly Kodak up to the 6? The rapper's sound wouldn't be a natural fit for OVO, though the label could likely offer him the check of his dreams.
