Last week, Chicago rapper Chief Keef sent out a tweet (since deleted) asking fans to "throw eggs and shit in a bag and rocks and all that" at a specific house in Minneapolis. He never explained the tweet, and even though it was deleted, cops still showed up to monitor the house and make sure nothing happened.
It seem like everything had blown over after the first wave of people drove by to take selfies at the house. However, Keef’s fans are more persistent than the local police force estimated. After the police left, fans have continued to travel to the area, turning the whole area into a bit of a mess. The house’s tenants, three college students, have all had to move out for fear of their own safety. One renter has had to resort to living in her car. A neighbor was robbed at gunpoint by two people who were looking for the house’s occupants.
Chief Keef has always been a bit of a loose cannon, but this is a particularly egregious move. Keef has not said anything about the tweet since it went out.
