You Was Right

Lil Uzi Vert's Lil Uzi Vs. The World mixtape just dropped, and as you might expect, there's quite a number of energetic records among the bunch, a couple of which come courtesy of production MVP Metro Boomin. "You Was Right" is one of the tracks in question, and finds the two artists bringing their A-game to make something special. Of course, it starts with Metro's new favorite tag, "If Young Metro don't trust you I'm gon' shoot you," and lives up to the reputation the drop has after preceding so many hits.

It's difficult to pick a favorite from Uzi's latest, but this one has to be up there, banging as hard as anything else in the club while never coming off aggressive -- hitting that meditative sweet spot Future's work with the producer often does.
