Drake’s never-ending domination of the Top 10 continues. At least this time, it’s earned.
Let’s get to it.
10) Drake - Right Hand
Though you wouldn’t know it from the ensuing media coverage, Drake actually released several songs in his second episode of the OVO Sound radio. “Right Hand” was one of the tracks that didn’t have anything to do with Meek Mill and it made it all the way to #10 in its first week on the charts.
9) Eminem - Sway In The Morning Freestyle
Eminem finally made it into the Top 10 on merit. While every Em song makes it to the top of our charts in recognition and stan-dom alone, there’s no denying how impressive Eminem’s 6-minute freestyle on Sway in the Morning was. Em made it to #9 in his debut week.
8) Fetty Wap - 1738
Fetty Wap is just about Drake’s only rival when it comes to haunting our charts. His latest track “1738”is steadily climbing, gaining two spots to come in at #8 in its second week on the charts.
7) DJ Carnage ft. ILoveMakonnen, Lil Wayne & G-Eazy - I Like Tuh
The original version of “I Like Tuh” was a rare example of a Makonnen song that HNHH readers enjoyed. Add in Lil Wayne and (god help us all) G-Eazy and you’ve made catnip for the comment section.
The “I Like Tuh” remix rode the posi vibes all the way to #7 in its first week on the charts.
6) DJ Holiday ft. Future, Meek Mill & T.I. - Flexin’
While “Flexin’” has been around for a while, the release of DJ Holiday’s star-studded God Bless The Mixtape pushed it back into the spotlight. The track features several rappers having excellent years (and T.I.) and it bangs...regardless of when it came out.
5) Kirko Bangz ft. Fetty Wap - Worry Bout It
Kirko has been looking for a way back into the spotlight for years now. So, he hitched his wagon to the seemingly unstoppable Fetty Wap and (truthfully) put out a pretty great song.
“Worry Bout It” rode a reworked Ginuwine sound to #5 in its first week.
4) Young Thug - I Need Chickens
Why are y’all clicking, though?
Young Thug’s latest jumped 37 spots in its second week to land at #4, fueled almost entirely by reader hate. Whatever, we liked it and Thugga appreciates the views.
3) 2 Chainz - Watch Out
2015 has suffered from a massive lack of Tity Boi. 2 Chainz knows our pain and announced Trapaveli Tre last week, releasing the first single “Watch Out”.
Readers were thirsting for more from Chainz, and pushed the track up to #3 in its debut week.
2) Future ft. Drake - Where Ya At?
The only thing that can beat Drake is newer Drake. “Where Ya At?” fell to the latest Drizzy track, but not by much.
1) Drake - Charged Up
Hey, at least Drake earned the top spot this week.
Not saying that this diss was particularly good, (we might even call it “baby lotion soft”) but at least it was interesting.
