This year, 19-year-old Canadian singer Alessia Cara has enjoyed an almost absurd amount of coverage and perks in the music industry for someone with only one song to her name. Since releasing the admittedly great "Here" in April, she's been interviewed by everyone from the New York Times to Zane Lowe, signed with Def Jam, and met Drake. This all seemed crazy, especially because the song is essentially based around an Isaac Hayes track that's been all but sampled to death by other artists, but now, she has a chance to prove herself with her debut project.
The five-track EP, entitled Four Pink Walls, contains "Here" and is streaming ahead of its Friday release via Cara's YouTube. Listen to the tracks in the order they appear on the EP below, and pre-order it here.
