The Game just expressed his dissatisfaction with Billboard's recent "10 Greatest Rappers of All Time" list for not including West Coast emcees like 2Pac, Ice Cube, and Snoop Dogg. Another L.A. rapper, Tyga, was just asked about the list, and he told Power 106 that his own top 10 would be different and proceeded to add the names of two of his contemporaries, including one with whom we thought he was beefing.
"I just feel like this is a lot of older people. This would be, like, the greatest rappers of all time if this came out, like, you know, 2005," said T-raww. "But now it's like, you know, you gotta give Drake his credit, you gotta give J. Cole his credit, you know what I mean?"
On "6PM In New York," off February's If You're Reading This It's Too Late, Drake hit Tyga with a not-so-subliminal shot, telling him to "act your age and not your girl's age." Soon after, Tyga responded by calling Drake a "bitch" and explained his grievances with his Young Money labelmate on The Breakfast Club. Since then, the beef has simmered down, and it's now clear that Tyga is, at least, willing to show respect for Drake's artistry.
