The Game caught a bit of flak last week for standing in the background while his manager Wack 100 knocked out Stitches. It was probably the wise move, as Game headed to court on Tuesday, where Rap-Up reports that a judge ordered him to stand trial for two separate cases, both involving felonies.
The Game is facing one felony count of criminal threats and one misdemeanor count of assault and battery after he punched an off-duty cop during a pick-up basketball game in March. The cop is also suing Game for $12 million in damages
The second charge is one felony count of second-degree robbery during an alleged altercation between The Game and a man serving him legal papers. According to TMZ, another felony charge of criminal threats was reduced to a misdemeanor, and the other criminal threats charge was dropped.
Game appeared confident in his odds of beating the cases, comparing himself to Scottie Pippen and his lawyer to Michael Jordan. “I believe in my lawyer and I believe in the justice system," he said. "So, it’s going to be what it’s going to be."
Free on bail, The Game awaits arraignment on December 21.
