People are taking Chris Brown's recent Instagram rant/post as a response of sorts to Drake's Karrueche name-drop on the internet-shattering What A Time To Be Alive. The post went up twelve hours ago, likely just as Breezy, and the rest of us, we're intaking WATTBA.
As is inevitable, the lyrics on the joint effort are being dissected until they literally have no meaning. There are already possibilities of a Meek Mill jab, and Chris Brown joins Meek with Drizzy's "Live from the Gutter" lyrics.
On the song, Drake raps, "This for my n***as on that bullshit and that nonsense, this for my dawgs that go Karrueche with the chopsticks." Long live the Chris Brown x Drake beef.
It's also worth pointing out that Future's DJ, Esco, was rumored to be dating Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend, and thus this could be alluding to DJ Esco too.
Chris Brown, on his part, wrote on Instagram:
I'm too blessed for the bullshit. People who have had to sit a watch me for years do me and watch their females actually love me always show their insecurities. I embrace anything God has given me. It's bigger than this music shit. I'm content with being Chris Brown. A lot of people are unhappy and a lot of these artist lie to the fans or rely on hype to gain substance. You niggas bore me. Ima keep being who God made me to be! 💯 #IAMMUSIC #othersbarelyholdanote #thesehandsworkgreat
