At the beginning of the month, Drake revealed that the "Hotline Bling" video was on its way, and, today, he's confirmed via Instagram that said video will arrive tomorrow, on October 19. He first posted a picture showing the date "October 19" written in the same "1-800-Hotline-Bling" font as on the single's cover art. In his next post, he verified that October 19 will be the date that he releases the video to his biggest hit of the year.
"Hotline Bling" made its debut on OVO Sound Radio after Drake had played his first Meek Mill diss track, "Charged Up." The song has proved to have a longer shelf-life than either of Drizzy's two Meek disses, and it now sits at No. 2 on the charts. Somewhat surprisingly, Drake has never had a No. 1 single, and he recently told his followers that if "Hotline Bling" does top the charts, during his birth month of October, no less, "it will be the biggest moment of my career to date."
Let's see if the video can give "Hotline Bling" that extra push and cap off Drake's historic year.
