Lamar Jackson was overwhelmed during a special ceremony at Louisville.

Lamar Jackson has been nothing short of incredible during his time with the Baltimore Ravens, and he is clearly one of the best quarterbacks in the entire league. Just a couple of seasons ago, he was able to take home the MVP trophy and moving forward, some believe he can win even more. The only thing Jackson doesn't have right now is sustained playoff success, however, at the age of 25, Jackson still has plenty of time to improve and show people he can be clutch.

Jackson was a phenom in college and while playing for Louisville, he always seemed to put on a clinic. In fact, Louisville loved Jackson so much that just about a month ago, they announced that Jackson would have his number retired and that he would also be added to the team's ring of honor.

Today, the induction ceremony officially took place and they had Jackson on hand for the proceedings. As you can see in the clip below, Jackson received a sea of cheers from the fans, and he seemed to be overwhelmed by the whole thing. He was pretty speechless and as soon as he lifted up the plaque with his jersey number, the crowd erupted. It was a very special moment and one that Jackson will remember forever.

Given Jackson's trajectory so far, it wouldn't be far-fetched to believe that someday he will experience the same fate with the Ravens. After all, he is already beloved in that city, and if he brings them a Super Bowl, he will achieve legend status.
