The core of Funk Volume is rapidly falling apart.
Over the weekend, Hopsin announced that he would leave the label that he helped start in 2009 if his co-founder Damien Ritter did not leavel. Now, it appears that Jarren Benton is decamping from Funk Volume for Master P and No Limit Records.
Jarren Benton shared his intentions via an Instagram post depicting the No Limit Records logo. "We all heard the news about @hopsinson leaving @funkvolume," he wrote in the caption. "I'm also venturing out on my own with Master P to revamp No Limit records. #nolimitsoldier."
Benton released on album with Funk Volume, 2013's My Grandma's Basement. He released Slow Motion Volume One EP last February. Check out his IG posts below.
