On New Year's Eve, Meek Mill and his Dreamchasers crew held a listening party for his upcoming mixtape, Dreamchasers 4. Not too many details of the mixtape have been revealed yet, but a partygoer was able to record some snippets of a remix of "Back to Back" -- the second straight diss track Drake fired at Meek this summer, which has gone on to earn a Grammy nod. DJ Akademiks has now recovered a snippet of a different DC4 song, and as luck would have it, it finds Meek rapping over another Drake track.
To be fair, remixing "I'm the Plug," which appeared on Drake and Future's collaborative album, What a Time to Be Alive, is a far less brazen stunt for Meek than taking on his rival's widely lauded diss track. Perhaps he's simply showing love to Future or Southside, the song's producer. Still, Drizzy came correct on the original, and in the spirit of competition, Meek will have to come even harder on his remix.
There's a lot riding on Dreamchasers 4. Do y'all think Meek will deliver?
