Lupe Fiasco plans to drop a total of three albums in 2016, and he recently revealed the titles of each: DROGAS, Skulls, and Roy. He has now confirmed that the first album in the series, DROGAS, is "coming soon." Along with news of the album's imminent arrival, Lupe shared two pictures of possible DROGAS album covers.
It doesn't seem DROGAS is an acronym, but the first of the two Twitter posts suggests the title's English translation, "DRUGS," could stand for "Don't Ruin Us God Said." "I'll Do My Best," Lupe wrote in the subsequent post, which includes a photo of a book titled "Countering the Conspiracy to Destroy Black Boys, Vol. II," by Chicago author Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu.
It seems Lupe is building a lot of mystery around his first album of 2016. Who's excited for DROGAS?
