Brooklyn's been in need of a breath of fresh air for quite some time (forget "restoring the feeling," let's find a new one to celebrate), and Donmonique is just that: a shit talking MC who's just as likely to hop on a trap beat as she is a grimy slice of boom bap. Today, she shares her debut project, the Thirst Trap EP.
Featuring collaborations with Remy Banks, Wara From The NBHD, Noah Caine, Slayter and Danny Brown, the eight track project is produced entirely by Stelios Phili, who you may remember from A$AP Ferg's Ferg Forever. Her big breakout single, "Pilates," is noticeably absent, but previously-released gems like "Tha Low" and "Jada" are on here.
