Last night, the HNHH-sponsored CMJ Takeover went down at Santos House Party in NYC. Although we only really announced the event a day prior, fans came out in hoards, likely for the headliner, Jay Electronica. The reclusive rapper killed his set, but not before proclaiming, "My name is Jay Electronica. I'm from New Orleans, Louisana. The state of hip-hop is fucked up." What do you think of his statement?
In addition to Jay Elect running through cuts like "Exhibit A," "Shiny Suit Theory" and more fan-favorites, NYC's own Donmonique also graced the stage, as well as Jay IDK (currently buzzing off SubTrap), and Jet Life staple Young Roddy.
