Back in February we got confirmation that Childish Gambino would indeed by playing a male stripper in the upcoming film Magic Mike XXL, and now we have the first photo to prove it.
The film's official Twitter tweeted out the first photo today in poster form. The name of Donald’s character has yet been announced, but Gambino, who recently said he might lose the Childish Gambino moniker, told The Daily Beast that he’s getting into the role and gaining more confidence.
"How is your lap dance game?"
"It’s gotten way better. It’s gotten way better. It’s all confidence," Glover said.
Look for Magic Mike XXL to hit theatres everywhere July 1st.
