We assumed the next release from Ty Dolla $ign would be another single off his upcoming debut album, Free TC, but instead, Ty has decided to drop a mixtape tomorrow, October 13, exactly a month before Free TC is released. In addition to the surprise announcement, Dolla $ign shared the tape's title track -- listen here.
He just announced the new tape, sharing the cover art on his Instagram.
It's unclear as to why he's dropping a new project a month before his debut album, but he is obviously a prolific music maker, and the quality of "Airplane Mode" (the song) should signal that the tracks that actually made the album should be even better.
