Young Thug asks Metro Boomin to "put some names on that shit lil bo."

Yesterday, Metro Boomin' went on a little twitter rant. The producer was basically venting about rappers hopping on the Future trend-- aka dropping new mixtapes at a lightening speed rate, whereas before, said artists might have been holding all their music close to their chest.

Metro ended up serving some advice for rappers who are attempting to mimic's Future output, encouraging them to release quality over quantity: "Moral of the story is, putting out 5 tapes in a year won't make you heat up like Future. That was just his path. It's not for everyone. Just take all the hardest songs from the 5 tapes you plan on dropping, and make 1 tape full of fire," he said.

The producer MVP didn't name any names during his twitter rant, however it seems Young Thug thought he was talking about him. Thugger Thugger responded to Metro this morning, with a couple of tweets of his own, while taking shots at Future in the process.

"Hey @MetroBoomin who u referring to ????" he wrote on twitter, "Put some names on that shit lil boy @MetroBoomin." He went on to call himself 'Michael Jackson' alleging that Future is simply 'Tito Jackson.'

"A nigga music couldn't ever sound nowhere near mines.... ((IM MICHEAL)) he's ((TITO))," Thug tweeted, "It's ok to ride a nigga dick, but don't agitate another one lil nigga."

What do you think? Is a beef about to ensue? Do you think Metro was even referring to Thug?

UPDATE: Young Thug has shared a few more thoughts, stressing that he has nothing against Future, and suggesting Metro's comments may have had something to do with his level of inebriation at the time.

UPDATE 2: Future has now shared what appears to be a subtweet aimed at Young Thug. Then again, Future's Twitter is generally pretty cryptic so it's hard to say. What do you think?

UPDATE 3: Young Thug is going at Future once again, asking "What juice?". He also retweeted "RIP Metro Thuggin," the title of his long-awaited collaborative project with Metro Boomin. See his response below.
