Drake and Future's What a Time to Be Alive seems to be inspiring other rappers to team up and drop impromptu projects. The next joint mixtape we'll get to hear comes from French Montana and Fetty Wap.
French's brother, Zack, announced the upcoming project in a recent interview with REVOLT. According to Zack, the mixtape is called Coke Zoo, it will contain 6 or 7 tracks, and it will be released in the next "week or two." He also confirmed that he would have a guest spot on the project.
Zack also said that Coke Zoo was recorded on the road, as both French and Fetty were part of Chris Brown's recent "One Hell of a Nite" tour.
"To be on the tour, and then we chillin' every day. And then partying on the bus -- studio right there. N*ggas just smoking O's and doing music."
Fetty and French just released "Freaky," featuring Zoo Gang's Monty. In addition to that collab, perhaps we can expect features from Chris Brown as well as Migos, who were also on the tour.
Who's ready for Coke Zoo?
