Since she made a surprise appearance during Katy Perry's 2015 Super Bowl halftime show, the world has made it clear that they need more Missy Elliott music in their life. The legendary rapper showed up on Ciara and Janet Jackson's 2015 efforts, but so far, we're yet to hear a new solo record. Luckily, Missy has decided to bless us with that song next week.
We knew Missy had been in the lab with fellow Virginia native Pharrell, and yesterday, Elliott announced that their collaborative single "WTF (Where They From)" would be available on November 12th.
As any rap fan knows, a lead single is by no means a promise of an impending album these days, but hopefully if it does well, Missy will have her comeback project out by the first quarter of 2016, or maybe even the fourth quarter of 2015.
