After a few weeks without albums from big stars, we had two drop this week, with A$AP Rocky's A.L.L.A. and Boosie Badazz's long-awaited Touch Down 2 Cause Hell both arriving yesterday. Today, we get their first week sales projections from Hits Daily Double. According to them, Rocky's on track to move 110-120,000 copies (125-135,000 when streaming's factored in), and Boosie's looking at the much lower numbers of 40-50,000 (45-55,000 streaming).
This is no real surprise, as Rocky's last album, 2013's Long.Live.A$AP, debuted at number one by selling 139,000 copies, and Boosie's 2010 predecessor only did 30,000, coming in at number 13 on the Billboard 200. With the numbers predicted for A.L.L.A., Rocky could very well have his second consecutive number one album, which would be quite a feat for him.
