While Rihanna fans patiently/eagerly await news on her upcoming eighth studio album, we get news of a different avenue of business for Ri Ri: TV. The pop star is set to join the new season of the singing reality TV show competition, "The Voice."
Rihanna will join the likes of Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams. Rihanna will serve as an advisor to all the judges. In a press conference today, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt announced the news, "We landed Rihanna to be the key advisor to all the coaches this fall. This is one of music's true supervisors coming on board to influence the lives and careers of the performers."
The ninth season of "The Voice" will premiere on NBC in September.
