It looks like fans of The Game may have to wait a couple weeks longer to hear the highly anticipated Documentary 2 album. Originally set for a September 25 release date, the album may now be dropping on October 9.
The slight set back comes noticed via Instagram, where The Game changed up some of his hashtag dates to #October9 (see below or here). No word yet if this change in date is entirely true as he’s yet to make an official statement or announcement on it, but it could very well be the case. After all, it’s only two weeks.
The album is scheduled to feature production credits from Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Pharrell, Scott Storch and more, including a hopeful feature from Kanye West.
Here’s what the Game had to say about the album in his original announcement,
“This album is better than my 1st for more than a few reasons,” he wrote. “After Kendrick dropped his album, then Dr. continuous legacy !!!! I’m proud to be from #COMPTON & I wish #EazyE was alive to see us flourish yet again…… We on !!!”
We’ll keep you posted as more information on the album surfaces. In the meantime, check out the video for its lead single "100" featuring Drake.
