A month ago, producer duo Blended Babies hit us with their instrumental EP, 1, the first in a series of instrumental EPs the two are working on. For those of you who were vibing out to that, we're premiering the second instalment in the series, 2, right now.
This collection of beats is entirely sample-based, and as the duo says, "we wanted to pay homage to the OGs like DJ Premier, Evil Dee, & Pete Rock [cause] they have had such a huge influence on our sound." The artists they borrowed from are referenced in the song titles, as you can see below.
