ASAP Rocky and his crew have managed to anger Pac Sun shoppers this weekend, and it's all stemming from a t-shirt. A graphic tee that displays an upside-down American flag has been making the rounds on Facebook after the brand posted a photo of their store display over the weekend.
It seems the majority of those complaining are not actually aware the shirt is attributed to the ASAP crew, and are instead rallying against Pac Sun. The fact that this is all going down on Memorial Day weekend has only strengthened the resistance.
Take a look at some of the comments Pac Sun has received so far in the gallery above. Are they overreacting?
Update: PacSun has caved due to customer pressure and pulled the shirt from stores. They have shared a statement on Facebook today explaining their decision. Read it below.
As a retailer grounded in youth culture, PacSun values artistic and creative expression through the brands that we sell in our stores. Out of respect for those who have put their lives on the line for our country, we have decided to stop selling the licensed flag t-shirt and are removing it from our stores and website immediately. We thank the men and women in uniform for their extraordinary service.
