Fool's Gold took over Labor Day in New York yesterday, adopting it as their own Day Off. Although Labor Day weekend is bitter-sweet, since it basically signals the fact that summer is over ):, Fool's Gold made the most of it by rounding up a mix of NYC-based rappers and artists abroad, to perform live at the Inlet.
The travelling festival, which now has dates in Atlanta, L.A., Miami and Austin, features a slightly different line-up in each location. At the NYC juncture, we got see performances from Fame School, Towkio, D.R.A.M., Post Malone, Skepta, A$AP Ferg, A-Trak, Flatbush Zombies, Meek Mill and more. Artists like Fabolous, Ferg and ILoveMakonnen served as (very much welcomed) surprise performers.
Meek Mill closed out the festival, but unfortunately we weren't allowed in the photography pit to catch live shots of him-- nonetheless you've probably heard of the controversy he stirred up mid-performance.
Take a look at photographs captured at the festival up top. Shouts out to our photographer, @MattMiggz (mattmiggz.com).
