We sensed this was coming, but now it's confirmed: Migos won't be dropping YRN Tha Album on the originally announced release date of June 16th. In a new press release, they announce that it's now scheduled to arrive on July 31.
The release offers no additional explanation of the delay, though we'd have to imagine that Offset still being locked up has something to do with it. Another factor could be their label situation, with Quality Control just announcing today that it was partnering with Capitol and Motown, and OG Maco's debut album (due out later this year) set for a joint QC/Motown release. The Migos album will still be distributed through 300.
As of now, the album and accompanying tour have been pushed back, but the original launch date for the YRN clothing line (June 16th) still stands. Check out the crew's latest video, "Origin," and stay tuned for additional updates.
