We wish we had been in South Beach last night. Young Money's showcase at the Red Bull Guest House weekend was capped off by a headlining performance from Lil Wayne. Weezy was the last to hit the stage at an all-day pool party that featured DJ sets by Questlove, Hudson Mohawke, and Mannie Fresh. Mannie also got up on stage during Wayne's set, so we hope that's a signal of a future collab from the two (former) Cash Money brethren.
Wayne performed a host of cuts from his latest mixtape Sorry 4 the Wait 2, as well as old classics like "Mrs. Officer". He also confirmed that his album--not Carter V--but the Free Weezy Album is on the way. The NOLA rapper also handed out new T-shirts, designed by Trukfit, in support of the album. The black tees read FWA on the front and Young Money on the back. Take a look in the above gallery, and tell us what you think.
