Right now, Rome Fortune is known for his excellent mixtapes. Last year, he released Beautiful Pimp, Drive, Thighs & Lies (with Dun Deal), and Small VVorld. This year, he's already got YEP, with OG Maco, and lolU, with CEEJ of Two-9. That's a crazy output, and we're finally ready for his debut album.
Rome is now signed to Fools Gold, and in a new interview with Sermon's Domain, he talks about his upcoming album, which will be produced by label boss A-Trak. There will be other unexpected collaborations, too, including: metal band Slipknot and indie-electronic producer Toro y Moi, who featured on Travi$ Scott's Owl Pharoah. A couple weeks ago, Tech N9ne told us Slipknot's Corey Taylor will be on his upcoming LP, so maybe metal-rap is making a comeback. Then again, Rome's never been one for genre limitations.
