Rihanna's new album, which has been given the working title R8, has been rumored to be dropping as a surprise release since last year. Today we got our first clue as to when it may be coming, and it looks like it COULD be tomorrow.
Rih captioned a photo (which may or may not be the album cover) with three hastags: "#March26,” “#R8,” and “#BBHMM”. Fans have unpacked that the third tag stands for "Bitch Better Have My Money", now the question is -- is it the title of the album, a song, or perhaps just a classic Rihanna-ism that doesn't actually play into the release. We'll have to wait 'til tomorrow to see what happens, but it seems there's no way we aren't coming out of it without some new music.
While she linked to her website, RihannaNOW.com, it's since crashed following the announcement.
[Update: It's A Single]
Now that Rihanna's website is back up-and-running, the url code of the photo has revealed it to be single artwork rather than album artwork. From this we can assume that a new record called "Bitch Better Have My Money" (the title is written in brail on the artwork, much like "FourFiveSeconds") will be released tomorrow. Though we're hoping it'll happen at midnight, we'll just have to wait and see when it'll pop up.
