Rae Sremmurd's SremmLife was a perfectly orchestrated album release in a broken system. While most rappers wait months or even years beyond the peak of their hype to drop their debut, the Sremm Bros were right on the money, and as a result, the album is still selling to this day (the fact that it was jam-packed with singles didn't hurt).
While they've surely got a few more records to market from LP1, the follow-up is already underway according to mentor, Mike WiLL Made it.
"Every song on Sremmlife is a HIT. Still sounding fresh af. Great start. SremmLife 2 in the works," he wrote on Twitter.
As far as when we'll actually see the album, we assume it won't be until 2016, but if Rick Ross can do it, surely Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi can release two albums in one calendar year.
