Thug promised two projects tonight: Migos Thuggin and Slime Season 2, the follow-up to his eclectic 18-track effort from September that featured several collaborations with his go-to producer London on da Track -- as well as beats from Metro Boomin, Southside, Wheezy, Goose, and more of Atlanta's leading youngsters. No sign of Migos Thuggin just yet, but SS2 is here, and it's about all we can handle.
The tape is 23 tracks long with features from Lil Uzi Vert, Trouble, Shad Da God, Yak Gotti, and his former Rich Gang partner Rich Homie Quan. Birdman also manages to show up on a bonus cut. As with most Thugger tapes, though, the production is what stands out the most; each of the above guys make a return on SS2. We've got 6 beats from London, 6 from Wheezy, as well as new appearances from TM88 and C4. Everybody in Atlanta showed up for this one.
Initial thoughts -- where does SS2 rank among its predecessor as well as Barter 6? And don't forget about Migos Thuggin. We wouldn't put it past Thugger to go ahead and drop both (of course, Metro Thuggin remains to be seen...).
