During the making of Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late (which just surpassed J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive in sales, by the way), his friend Travis Savoury was locked up on human trafficking charges. Savoury, who Drizzy often calls "Baka," contributed backing vocals on Nothing Was The Same, and got a shout-out on "Know Yourself," and now he's landed himself in trouble once again.
According to the Toronto Sun, the 37-year-old Savoury has plead guilty to assaulting a 22-year-old woman during a domestic dispute and "failing to comply with his recognizance conditions for unrelated firearms charges." Thusly, he's been sentenced to six months in jail. Lucky for him, additional charges of procuring for prostitution and human trafficking were dropped, substantially reducing his sentence.
