Lil Wayne gets three years of probation.

Fresh off his eight month prison bid at New York's Riker's Island, an Arizona judge sentenced Lil Wayne to three years of unsupervised probation Friday (Nov. 5), stemming from a drug bust back in 2008. Weezy is banned from drinking alcohol for the next three years and must also complete 360 hours of community service in Miami, where he resides. According to probation paperwork obtained by TMZ, the 28-year-old is also prohibited from associating with persons engaging in criminal activity, cannot possess illegal drugs, toxic vapors or controlled substances, and must submit to drug and alcohol testing.

The Grammy winner was originally arrested back in 2008, when his tour bus was pulled over at a U.S. Boarder Patrol Checkpoint near Yuma, Arizona. A search of his tour bus allegedly uncovered a handgun, cocaine, and ecstasy. Wayne pleaded guilty to one count of felony possession of a dangerous substance while the other charges were dropped. If he stays on the straight and narrow, the father of four could see his sentence dropped down from a felony to a misdemeanor.

As previously reported, Wayne was released from prison November 4, after serving over half of a one-year sentence after pleading guilty to attempted gun possession, for having a loaded firearm on his tour bus in 2007.
