Chelsea Handler Battles More 50 Cent Dating Gossip

"If I was your best friend, I'd want you around all the time," rapped 50 Cent last week at New Orleans' Blue Nile jazz bar while Chelsea Handler was sitting in the crowd. And after the duo were also caught sitting awfully close to each other at a table, the questions began. Are these two celebs dating?

Handler denied those rumors on Twitter, writing, "Everyone, calm down. I met with Mr. Cent about a potential project. There's nothing to report yet, I'll let you know if there is."

The topic of Handler and Fiddy's romance popped up again on Tuesday on Handler's late-night talk show, "Chelsea Lately," when a guest panelist told the host, "Thank you for banging 50 Cent."

Handler shook her head and laughed as the guest, comedian Jo Koy, proceeded to quote a lyric from a 50 Cent song: "Have a baby by me, baby, be a millionaire."

"I'm not banging ... I'm not banging," Handler responded. "He wasn't singing to me," she added. "He was singing and I saw it."

Handler's flirtation with the rapper stretches back to last November when he appeared on "Chelsea Lately." "You're very, very cute," she told him, prompting him to reply, "Do you have a boyfriend?"

But on Tuesday's show, Handler again said nothing is going on between the two of them and alluded to the fact that they're exploring the possibility of working together.

"When I have something to say, I will say it on this show," she said. "There's nothing to talk about. Seriously."

When another panelist suggested that perhaps Handler should start dating Tone Loc instead, the host took the opportunity to dis Fiddy.

"I think 50 Cent's worse than Tone Loc," she said.
