With one of the most distinctive production styles in his Awful Records crew, Archibald Slim usually opts to handle the instrumentals for his albums by himself. In the past, this has led to great, cohesive projects like He's Drunk! and The Other Special Guest, but for his latest, he's taken a new route. Teaming up with Awful producer Dexter Dukarus (who's worked with iLoveMakonnen and Key! in the past), Slim shares Don't Call The Cops, a 10-track project entirely produced by Dukarus.
In contrast to Slim's sample-heavy, gritty sound, Dukarus gives the album a more synth and keyboard-heavy sound, along with beats that are a little trappier. Guest spots come from KeithCharles Spacebar, Ethereal, Stalin Majesty, Micah Freeman, Father and ABRA. Stream it in full below, and purchase Don't Call The Cops here.
