Wiz Khalifa's "We Dem Boyz" was inescapable last summer, and it seems the Taylor Gang rapper may have the warmer months on lock once again. Currently sitting at number one on the Billboard charts, Khalifa has big plans for the near future, working on a joint project with Curren$y, as well as getting ready to release what sounds like a pretty massive collab with PARTYNEXTDOOR.
"It's something that we're working on," said Wiz of 2009, his upcoming project with Spitta. "We're still putting the ideas together. We're such friends, and such stoners, we kinda want to just give it out, but we are in the music business..."
As far as the music itself, the rapper suggested the two can't stop collaborating. "We're just working on it constantly," he said. "He's always sending me beats that he rapped to, or I'm sending him stuff I rapped to. In the end, we're just gonna come out with something super dope."
As far as the PARTY track, Wiz confirmed that we will hear the full version, but it's not clear who'll end up putting it out, though he does seem pretty excited about the prospect of it being his. "That song's called 'Hurricane' right now, but I'll probably change the name of it. You're going to hear the full version of that," he said. "That's mine [Wiz laugh]. I did two verses on there, he has a hook... nah, psych, we did it together, so it doesn't really matter [who puts it out].
