Megan claimed Tory Lanez shot her during an incident back in July.

Back in July, the internet was confused after a situation was reported involving Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez. At the time, many thought that she had simply stepped on some glass. Eventually, it came out that Megan had been shot, which led to speculation that Tory may have done it.

"It's only four motherf*ckas in the car. Me, you, my homegirl, and your security. Everybody in the car arguing. I'm in the front seat, this n*gga in the backseat. I get out the car, I'm done arguing. I don't wanna argue no more. I get out. I'm walking away. This n*gga, from out the backseat of the car, started shooting me. You shot me. I ain't get cut by no glass, but let me tell you why they saying that."

Reactions to her revelation came in swiftly, with many celebrities voicing their shock/support for Megan. Since making this claim, an investigation has been ongoing, while Tory also followed up with a response of his own by way of a brand new album called Daystar. In the album, Tory denied shooting Megan, seemingly confessed his love for Megan, and shifted the blame. He also accused websites of a smear campaign against him.

Today, a huge development in the alleged shooting occurred, as Tory was officially hit with charges in relation to the case. According to TMZ, Tory has been given one felony count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, personal use of a firearm, and most strikingly, assault with a semiautomatic firearm. These charges come from the L.A. County D.A.'s Office.
