Last fall, Veteran R&B group Jagged Edge began mounting a comeback, sharing a few new tracks while gearing up for an album. Now, they've hit a roadblock, as one of the members, Kyle Norman, has been arrested on charges of aggravated assault.
According to local news, police responded to “a fight call between an engaged couple" at Norman's Atlanta residence, and found Norman's fiancee with “welts under her eyes, a golf ball-sized knot on her forehead, a cut to her nose and a blood clot in her right eye.”
Police say that the singer “choked her with a scarf that she had around her neck, shoved her engagement ring down her throat, took her keys and broke her cell phone.”
Norman wasn't present at the time, but police found him running down a nearby street. When found, he said, "I need to go to jail.” He claims his reason for acting out was his father's recent cancer diagnosis. Watch local news footage below.
