While Nike's Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) has been canceled for the rest of the season due to COVID-19, that hasn't stopped the Beaverton brand from coming out with sneakers that pay homage to the league's history. Pretty well every single year, Nike's signature basketball athletes receive EYBL-themed colorways of their shoes, and 2020 is no different. In fact, most recently, we were given official images of the Nike KD 13 "EYBL" which is set to release overseas on July 28th.
As you can see from the photos below, this is a very regal colorway that will certainly have fans excited. The upper is filled with white, all while the Nike swoosh, laces, and back heel are gold. There are small splashes of aqua blue on the upper, as well as the outsole. This helps add some color into the mix, and it definitely makes the shoe particularly unique.
While the overseas release date has been set, there is no telling when these kicks will drop in North America. However, it seems as though July is the timeline that makes the most sense.
