'Brake Lights' hit the 'net at midnight on Tuesday, Aug. 3, and the DJ Skee-hosted project has already become a trending topic on Twitter. The mixtape features appearances from several artists, including Busta Rhymes,Dr. Dre, Rick Ross, Snoop Dog, Robin Thicke, Akon and Nas. DJ Toomp, JR Rotem and Rich Skillz all handled the production duties.
Game's 'The R.E.D. Album' was initially slated for a fall 2009 release, but was pushed back several times to a March, June and most recently, July 6 release -- none of which materialized. In late June, California-based company Desperado Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Aftermath Records,Interscope, Universal Music Group and Dr. Dre's ARY, Inc to halt the release of the album. The company claimed responsibility for launching Game's career, and entitlement to publishing and licensing income from his albums.
'The R.E.D. Album' is currently set for an August 24 release. It will feature production from Dr. Dre, Timbaland, RZA, Cool & Dre and Pharrell.
