We haven’t heard much from Rihanna since 2012’s Unapologetic album, but after dropping off “FourFive Seconds” with Kanye West and Paul McCartney last weekend, Rih Rih is getting back to business. To make her comeback official, Rih Rih will be reportedly taking the stage at this year’s Grammy’s and performing her new single alongside Kanye West and Paul McCartney, according to a close source from The Sun newspaper. The source states,
“Rihanna’s seriously pleased to have bagged a big slot at The Grammys and two huge names to kick off her comeback.”
Take note that this hasn’t been confirmed by either camps, but I can most definitely see this happening. After all, the record itself will probably be up for a Grammy come next year with the likes of these three on it.
Look for the performance and the rest of the Grammy's to go down Sunday, February 8th. Set your DVR's today.
[Update: Kanye Will Also Debut A New Song]
In an exciting turn of events, it looks like the previously-hinted-at (now confirmed) performance of "FourFive Seconds" won't be the only time we see Kanye West onstage at The Grammys this year. Yesterday, the award show's website announced a second round of performers, informing us that West would also be playing a new solo track in addition to the Paul McCartney/Rihanna collab. His methods of dropping hints may have gotten more mainstream than the "G.O.O.D. Fridays" days, but Kanye seems to be letting us know that we are about to jump headlong into "Yeezy Season."
