Colin Kaepernick is doing his part to support those who are protesting injustice.

Colin Kaepernick has been fighting against racial injustice for quite some time now and unfortunately, it cost him his job in the NFL. Regardless, Kaepernick is well-aware that his voice on these issues is important and he is always looking to help out wherever he sees fit. As of right now, Kaepernick's voice is needed more than ever in light of what is happening in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After the police killing of George Floyd, there have been protests all throughout the city and Kaepernick wants to make sure they are covered.

Today, Kaepernick tweeted out a link to a legal fund that will help those who are fighting for their rights and safety in Minneapolis. Sometimes, protesters can find themselves in troubling legal situations and Kaepernick is making sure there is an outlet for them to be protected from a legal standpoint.

"In fighting for liberation there‘s always retaliation. We must protect our Freedom Fighters. We started a legal defense initiative to give legal representation to Freedom Fighters in Minneapolis paid for by @yourrightscamp," Kaepernick wrote.

This has been a difficult time for everyone in the United State but with these recent examples of police brutality, it is important for everyone to come together and fight for what is right.
