Pop Smoke's posthumous album is nearly upon us, bringing with it some dope features from some of hip hop's finest. One such collab will include 50 Cent and Roddy Ricch, as the former previously teased on Tuesday night (June 22nd) that the exciting crossover will be coming "soon." Now, Fif has given us another taste of what to expect, but rather than the title or a snippet of the track, he's shared some shots from the video shoot alongside Roddy Ricch.
"Pop Smoke 50cent & @roddyricch this sh*t is outta of here," he wrote on some photos of him and Roddy on set. "She want to F*ck wit the Woo." Fif later posted a heartwarming clip of Pop speaking on him during an interview at the height of his sadly short career. When he's asked whether fellow New Yorker 50 Cent has tapped in yet, Pop responds, "Yeah, I like 50. I ain’t gon’ lie, 50, [I] grew up on 50. N****s be saying we cousins and sh*t."
"Yeah we the Jackson’s," Fif wrote in the caption. "POP Album is crazy, y’all gonna bug out off this." While Pop's album was supposed to drop earlier this month, it was delayed until July 3rd out of respect for the Black Lives Matter movement. "We have been watching, along with the rest of the world, as long overdue change starts to take root," Pop's manager, Steven Victor, stated. "We have seen Pop’s music become the soundtrack of the moment, unifying the masses." The first single off Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon, titled "Make It Rain" and featuring Rowdy Rebel, has already dropped, and perhaps we can expect to hear the 50 Cent x Roddy Ricch joint before next Friday, but only time will tell.
