A staple on the Love & Hip Hop franchise, A1 Bentley's dramatic relationship with Lyrica Anderson has been tabloid news for the last year. He's trying to get away from all the madness though, moving past the gossip and focusing on the one thing he loves most: music.
Previously releasing tracks under the A1 moniker, the rapper has officially renamed himself and developed a new style musically, also debuting a fresh look.
Recently, the 32-year-old decided to switch things up a bit, ditching his long dreads sporting a shorter hairstyle. He also gave himself a new name, inviting fans to call him "SprngBrk" from now on.
"I Appreciate the Love & Hate," wrote SprngBrk on social media, directing fans to his new song "Memo." The record is reportedly a tribute to George Floyd.
A new chapter has officially begun for A1. Are you joining him for the ride?
Last month, he found himself in legal trouble after being sued by a teenage artist who accused him of fraud. He was reportedly involved in a production deal with the 18-year-old artist who claimed that he did not stick to his end of the deal.
