Lamar Jackson had to hook Lil Wayne up with something personal.

Lamar Jackson had an incredible season with the Baltimore Ravens back in 2019, and his efforts got him MVP honors. Just like Patrick Mahomes the year before him, Jackson was awarded with a Madden cover which is pretty well every player's dream, aside from the whole curse thing. The cover art for Madden 21 was recently shown off and it portrays Jackson in black and white, which gives the artwork a unique old school vibe.

Jackson has been working hard to promote the game which comes out later this summer, and fans are understandably excited especially since this will be the first Madden game on the upcoming PlayStation 5. Recently, Jackson went out of his way to hook Lil Wayne up with some special Madden 21 memorabilia. In fact, he signed a large poster for the artist that will certainly look good in any game room.

The Ravens superstar has come a long way since his rookie season. While he played well coming in for Joe Flacco, it was clear that Jackson needed to improve his passing game. In 2019, that's exactly what he did as the Ravens became one of the most potent offenses in the entire league. Unfortunately, the team fizzled out in the playoffs, although the fact remains that Jackson is an elite quarterback.

Next season, Jackson and the Ravens will certainly be favorites to go out and win a title.
