Ever since reaching the upper echelon of hip-hop stardom, DaBaby has fielded his fair share of negativity from a variety of different sources. The police, for one. The haters, from another. It's no secret that the criticism can sometimes resonate more than the praise, and many artists have occasionally lost patience and taken to social media to vent their frustrations. Yet DaBaby appears more grounded, and this Father's Day weekend, the Blame It On Baby rapper took to Instagram to reflect on the many blessings in his life.

"Been up all night reflecting on how blessed I am," he begins, in a lengthy IG story write-up. "Blessed enough to come from where I come from and make it where I am. Blessed enough to live through situations I've made it out of with my head held high...Blessed enough to watch my mother get married and live happily with a great man that loves and appreciates her the way I always have. Blessed enough to be the father of 2 beautiful children...Blessed enough to have people all over the world look at my life and become inspired."
"Blessed enough to be able to do simple things that mean much like watch Toy Story with my daughter 100 times in the past two weeks," he continues. "Blessed enough to be in touch with who I am as a person and never let outside opinion affect how pure my heart is. Blessed enough to see the children in my family grow and learn new things every time I see em...Blessed enough to have people in my life that love me for who I am and accept my flaws without judging my character. Blessed enough to see staring at my pretty ass daughter as I type this shit. Blessed enough to be a successful black man."
