Bubba Wallace
Bubba Wallace has been fighting for racial equality and diversity in NASCAR.

Bubba Wallace has been a pioneer in the world of NASCAR. He is the only black driver in the sport and over the past few weeks, he has been making strides to make NASCAR a much more inclusive place. For instance, he advocated for the banning of the Confederate flag, and NASCAR ultimately agreed with him. He even sported a Black Lives Matter paint scheme during a race at Martinsville just a couple of weeks ago.

Unfortunately, when you advocate for progress, there are going to be evil people out there who want to stop you. Yesterday, prior to the postponed race at Talladega, Wallace found a noose hanging in his garage. This act bares symbolism that many already understand the history of. Now, NASCAR is investigating and numerous athletes are showing their support to Bubba, including LeBron James.

"Sickening! @BubbaWallace my brother! Know you don’t stand alone! I’m right here with you as well as every other athlete. I just want to continue to say how proud I am of you for continuing to take a stand for change here in America and sports!" LeBron wrote.

Wallace has been receiving an outpouring of support from various other big-name athletes, especially those who he drives next to on a weekly basis.

Hopefully, NASCAR is able to find who did this and kick them out of the sport.
