HNHH's "Underrated Audio" puts you on not-too-mainstream music you might have missed from the past week.

Underrated Audio aims to provide you with some dope looks from the last seven days that flew under most peoples' radars. While they may have received front-page placement on HNHH, they didn't get as many views as they deserve, so we shine a little more light on them right here.

For this week's edition, we round up music from Ca$h Out, Willie The Kid, Sonny Digital and a full album release from Johnny Rain. Typically we limit UA to song drops, but this new album warranted a spot. Meanwhile Ca$h Out hits us with a low-key banger that didn't get enough eyes on it the first time around, plus Sonny Digital steps to the mic, and Willie The Kid recruits Royce Da 5'9". Peep all that in the following pages.

Ca$h Out- Tomorrow

Underrated Audio: January 17- January 23

Ca$h Out dropped off a new single this week, “Tomorrow,” and while it slipped under most peoples’ radars, like basically everything else Ca$h Out has dropped since “Ca$hin’ Out,” it was actually really dope. The single had the rapper doing a mumble-rap hook a la Rich Homie, which paired well with the minimal chiming bell production. If Ca$h Out continues down this path, he could just make a career resurgence.

Johnny Rain- 11

Underrated Audio: January 17- January 23

We don’t usually include full projects on Underrated Audio, but actually, why not? Johnny Rain’s new album 11 fits in perfectly. The r’n’b singer continues to gain momentum, but still hasn’t quite broke yet. His new album 11 is a step in the right direction, and it showcases the Cali native’s versatility- although, if there’s anything Johnny Rain still needs to do, it’s hone in on one specific sound and style to call his own. 11 varies from EDM, to 808s & Heartbreaks, to Frank Ocean, and beyond. It’s got a range of r’n’b styles, so there’s sure to be a little something for every kind of fan.

Willie The Kid- The Watch feat. Royce da 5’9”

Underrated Audio: January 17- January 23

Unfortunately Willie The Kid isn’t the type of rapper to take in a ton of views, at least not on HNHH, nonetheless the song we premiered for him earlier this week was old school fire. The rapper basically plays word association in his opening verse, over chilled out production from Budgie. Royce Da 5’9” then comes in and spits way over our heads.

Sonny Digital- Everything Feat. Chevy Woods

Underrated Audio: January 17- January 23

Sonny Digital is slowly foraying into artist territory, dropping off self-produced cuts that have him singing or rapping (or sing-rapping) on them. This past week he enlisted Chevy Woods to assist him on “Everything” which has Sonny Digital slurred voice on the hook, singing about how he just wants everything he can get. Is that too much to ask?  Chevy brings the energy up a notch with his verse mid-way. It’s got dark, muddled sounds that are consistent with earlier leaks like “I’m The Man.” His career as a rapper will be interesting to watch.
