RiFF RAFF is a lot of things, but at the center of all the craziness, he's a Houston rapper through and through. Even as his production moves further into Made Decent's core sound, JODY has maintained his spontaneous style of wordplay, picked up from the region's underground freestyle scene.
RiFF would be doing his city a disservice if his debut album didn't get the proper chopped and screwed treatment, and naturally, he went with a Houston icon to do it. OG Ron C, the co-founder of Swishahouse records, and always one to keep the DJ Screw legacy alive, is behind the edit, and while it's weird to hear rap-rock freak-outs like "Kokayne" in Chopped form, you can be assured they're definitely not slopped.
